This Northern Counties bodied Leyland Atlantean was new to Greater Manchester PTE in June 1984, after it was withdrawn from Manchester (around 1996) it sold onto Rossendale Transport who ran it there for many years, after then of which it was sold onto Northern Blue of Burnley then only after spending a short period there presumably because Northern Blue were a predominantly Scania operator, In around 2003 it was bought by Focus coaches who spent some money on it giving the bus a full repanel & interior retrim and was reregistered VIL 4028.
It was then registered back to A741 NNA & passed onto P&C Coaches in Wigan who ran it in Focus livery until it was sold to Tanhouse Morris Dancers. The bus then ended up been purchased by it’s current owner Ian Amarnani and then joined the collection at Town & District Transport Trust when we all begun in 2017. It is nearing it’s long term restoration and will be hitting the rally scene in 2021.
